1931 Bugatti Type 55 Roadster
Description:
The French car manufacturer from Molsheim - Alsace is a very traditional company and stands for exclusiveness, luxury and elegance. Bugatti manufactured the cars with manual precision. They were known to be the best sports and racing cars in that time, which made Bugatti a legendary brand. The extraordinary construction and the high esthetic requirements have led to extreme enthusiasm among every viewer and to an almost limitless passion among the owners. The Type 55's 2,262cc, supercharged, twin-cam, straight-eight engine was carried over in slightly de-tuned form from the successful Type 51 Grand Prix car - successor to the legendary Type 35. Almost half of the 38 Type 55 Bugattis built were fitted with a roadster or coupé coachwork by Jean Bugatti.
This vehicle has been fully rebuilt. The original documents of the first French registration still exist.
